Try Alabama's beaches.

The BP oil spill likely will be the worst in our nation's history.

But Gulf Shores is as pristine and beautiful now as ever.

Likewise for Orange Beach and Dauphin Island.

And the crowds are minimal due to the oil scare.

. . .

For five weeks, the battle's been waged to contain this disaster and we've felt helpless at times.

One way we can help is to support our state by vacationing here and encouraging others to as well.

Our beaches are among the nicest in the country.

We can't let what may happen in the future stop us from enjoying them today.
